13th Annual Sustainable Communities Workshop
The 13th Annual Sustainable Communities Workshop – "Unique Perspectives for Community Solutions" – brought together the community to discuss sustainability priorities. Our expert speakers provided up-to-date information on community strategies, resources, and solutions, as well as best practices from other communities.
Residents, business leaders, institutions, government agencies and organizations gathered to learn from knowledgeable speakers and panel discussions. Discussion topics included:
- the overview effect, with "The Artistic Astronaut" Nicole Stott,
- plastic pollution solutions,
- environmental communication,
- habitat restoration,
- and more.
Creating solutions requires participation from everyone to identify and implement innovative and appropriate sustainability practices that support community needs. Meet our speakers, visit our exhibitors, learn, network, and enjoy organic and local food. Participate in breakout sessions and network with businesses and community groups to help build a better future for our community. Join us at this annual popular and interactive workshop.
