The 14th Annual Sustainable Communities Workshop – "Growing Greener Generations" – will bring together the community to discuss a variety of up-to-date sustainability topics presented by our expert speakers.

Building on the success of last year's workshop, which drew a record attendance of more than 190 people, the 2019 event will feature keynote speakers Josh Tickell, Chris Castro, and Syd Kitson, along with more than two-dozen other panelists and speakers (view a draft agenda).

Josh is an internationally recognized expert on sustainability and the climate, and author of multiple books on sustainability-related topics, including his latest work, “The Revolution Generation: How Millennials Can Save America and the World (Before It’s Too Late).” Learn more at joshtickell.com.

Chris is director of Orlando’s Office of Sustainability & Resilience, developing policies and programs to advance the city’s sustainability, clean energy, and climate action goals. Among his accomplishments, Chris helped develop Fleet Farming, a social enterprise that redefines local food systems by building organic farms on residential lawns.

And Syd Kitson is chairman and CEO of Kitson & Partners, which specializes in the creation and development of master-planned communities setting new standards for sustainable, responsible growth.
