Sarasota County is in a multiyear utilities project. We began a phased construction in 2001 with the installation of central sewers. The septic system replacement program began to improve wastewater treatment for homes and businesses. About 14,000 septic tanks will be eliminated over the life of the project.

• All properties within the boundaries will be assessed through a Non-ad Valorem assessment on the annual property tax when the work is completed. 

Neighborhood Roads Get Resurfaced 
When the central sewer construction is complete, the roads in each area will be resurfaced. This new surface will eliminate potholes, uneven surfaces and the "patchwork" look of existing roads. If you have any questions, contact us at 941-861-5000.
