Bills are due upon receipt and become past due 15 days AFTER the bill date.
- A late payment fee of $2.00 or 1.5 percent of the past due balance (whichever is greater, only on active accounts with past due balances exceeding $5.00) is assessed if payment is not received by the close of business on the 25th day after the bill date.
-
Loan accounts have a payment due date 25 days from the date the loan bill is printed — loan bills are only printed and mailed once per month and are done on the first business day of the month. A loan account is considered delinquent 90 days past the due date, and the late charge is 1.5 percent.
Disconnection of service may occur if any previous balance is not paid by the due date.
- Utilities is not responsible for delayed mail delivery of a payment or a bill.
A partial payment is not sufficient to continue service unless satisfactory payment arrangements have been made with Utilities Customer Service in advance.
- Please note: If a disconnection for non-pay has occurred, the balance owed must be paid in full by 3pm via cash or credit card. After payment of the balance owed, service will be restored the following business day.
