Park Operations Status Related to COVID-19
Like so many of you, we have spent the last several days and weeks learning about the coronavirus (COVID-19). Parks, Recreation and Natural Resources is working closely with the Sarasota County Health Department to monitor this evolving issue. To help slow the spread of COVID-19 in our most vulnerable populations, Sarasota County has decided to cancel ALL programming, reservations, events, leagues, tournaments, drop-ins and use of indoor fitness centers and amenities, regardless of size for the next 30 days through Sunday April 12 (effective immediately). Please note that this includes the Spring Vacation in the Parks.
In addition, all beaches, recreation centers, playgrounds, courts (tennis, pickleball, basketball, volleyball, etc.), and dog parks have been temporarily closed.
All reservations will be canceled automatically and applicable refunds processed or credited to account for future reservations. If you have any questions, please follow up with the staff member or facility where you made your reservation.

As always, you can contact us at any time via firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling 941-861-5000.
We are remaining diligent in the operations of our parks and facilities in a safe, clean manner.
