Sarasota County Master Gardener volunteers have planned another great plant sale this Saturday, Oct. 14th.
The Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF) in partnership with the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), announced the implementation of the Florida Disaster Food Assistance Program in Sarasota and Manatee Counties, to help individuals and families impacted by Hurricane Irma. DCF and USDA, will be in Sarasota at the Westfield Sarasota Square mall located at 8201 Tamiami Trail, Sarasota 35238, Oct. 13 to Oct. 17. Volunteers are needed to deliver this program to the public.
