To promote community engagement efforts on the use of ARPA CLFRF funds, Sarasota County launched an electronic and paper community input survey on October 8, 2021 to gauge residents and business owners top interests on the potential uses of Sarasota County’s CLFRF allocation to meet the impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic, to include other eligible categories of CLFRF such as sewer, water, and broadband infrastructure projects. Further, respondents were requested to provide any other top interests for consideration.
The availability of the community survey was posted weekly on Sarasota County’s social media platforms and the SCGov.net website, which had website capabilities to translate survey material and responses for limited English proficient populations.
