The Office of Financial Management provides financial and resource management services in five (5) key areas:

  • Analytics, Accounts Receivable and Business Support Services
  • Fixed Asset Management 
  • Procurement
  • Program Management

Each of these groups has aligned their objectives to support the strategic goals of the County.

GFOA's Distinguished Budget Presentation Award

For the 34th consecutive year, the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) of the United States and Canada has awarded the Distinguished Budget Presentation Award to Sarasota County for its budget. This is also the fifth time receiving the Triple Crown Medallion. To qualify for the budget award, the document had to satisfy nationally recognized guidelines for effective budget presentation.
