Sarasota County is creating a Unified Development Code (UDC) that updates and brings together the land development and zoning regulations, which control the development of all properties in the unincorporated area of Sarasota County. Combining these two codes will make it simpler to find regulatory information for any piece of property, while clarifying the regulations.
