Nicole Rissler has been Assistant County Administrator since 2026 and brings more than two decades of public sector and nonprofit leadership experience. She previously served as director of Parks, Recreation and Natural Resources. During this time, she directed a nationally recognized Parks, Recreation, and Natural Resources Department, and has assisted the County Administrator with a variety of other significant initiatives.
 
Rissler earned a Master of Business Administration from Lynn University. Her background also includes executive leadership roles with Nathan Benderson Park Conservancy and Visit Sarasota County.
