State COVID-19 Drive-Thru Testing Site Open
A drive-thru, community-based COVID-19 testing site opened Sunday, May 3, at the Mall at University Town Center. Testing will be available for individuals over the age of 18 regardless of symptoms.

Next director named for Parks, Recreation & Natural Resources
Nicole Rissler has accepted the offer to become the new director of Sarasota County's Parks, Recreation and Natural Resources Department. Rissler has served with Sarasota County Government since 2016, when she was hired as the department's deputy director. She previously worked with Visit Sarasota
