2024
Lin Jin
Lin Jin graduated with a BFA in Computer Animation and a minor in Business from the Ringling College of Art and Design in Sarasota. Her thesis short film, “NO DOUBT,” reflects her passion for animation and film, promoting female empowerment and Asian cultures while inspiring others on their journeys toward success and their dreams. The film has been selected for approximately 40 film festivals and has won 13 awards to date.
In recognition of her talents, Lin received the Women in Animation (WIA) 2023-2024 scholarship award. She was also invited by The National Society of Leadership and Success in 2023 to leverage her skills in art and film for positive impact.
Xinyu Li
Xinyu Li is from Beijing China, and earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interactive Media Arts from New York University. She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Entertainment Technology at Carnegie Mellon University. Xinyu has a passion for multimedia, animation, and game development, making her internship with Sarasota County's Communications Department an excellent fit. During her time with the Access team, she contributed to several projects, including the Fire Department New Hire video, PRNR Groundbreaking video, Wedding video, and motion graphic animations for the FSWAC campaign. Additionally, her background in game development inspired the Communications Department to create SCG Live, an online interactive game that allows users to engage with Sarasota County's services in an innovative and fun way.
2023
Noah Hayden
Noah Hayden is from Arlington, Virginia, and graduated from Virginia Tech with a bachelors in Sports Media and Analytics. Noah always loved to film and edit video which is why his internship with Sarasota County's Communications Department was a great match. Noah primarily worked with the Access team and assisted with their day-to-day activities. Projects Noah worked on include: Fire Department New Hire video, Commercial for WEDU, Employee Profile: Martini, Bruce Dillon Memorial, BMX World Championship preparation, Bahia Vista project update video, How to protect yourself from Mosquito Bites video, and many more.
