Purpose: Advise and make recommendations to the County Commission on programs and services for low-income households, as well as barriers that low-income households face regarding their ability to be self-sufficient or upwardly mobile.

Requirements: 9 members

Tripartite Board
3 public officials or their appointed representatives
3 elected representatives of the poor
3 representatives of business, industry, labor, religion, welfare, education, or other major group
1 youth representative

Term: 3 years (except at the discretion of the public entities)

Meetings: Quarterly — 2nd Thursday of February, May, August, and November, at 3 p.m. unless additional meetings are needed.
