Sustainability is an ever changing field. Sarasota County hosts meetings, workshops and events throughout the year to help our community stay connected and up to date on the latest best practices and innovations.

From monthly networking meetings to an annual Sustainable Communities Workshop, there are countless opportunities to be engaged on the topics that interest you most.

Here is a record of some of the presentations and discussions that have occurred at past events for your reference.

 Sustainable Community Partnership Meetings


Sarasota County Sustainability hosts regular meetings, open to all. Each meeting, a featured speaker gives a presentation on a sustainability topic. The presentation is followed by a roundtable for attending community partners to share ideas, products, upcoming events and other information in support of a sustainable community and enhanced quality of life. Meeting attendees include local businesses, organizations, and individuals all with an interest in community sustainability.
