The 2017 Youth Summer Reading Program begins Thursday, June 1 and ends Saturday, Aug. 5.

  • EXPLORE the libraries’ FREE activities, movies, music, books, computers, online resources and more!
  • REGISTER. Register by visiting your local library or online at Beanstack
Weekly participation prizes will be awarded, and a chance to win a grand prize upon completing the program!

 End Summer Hunger: Free Summer Food Program


All Faiths Food Bank, the Sarasota County School District and Sarasota County Libraries are partnering to make food available for children at several sites throughout Sarasota County. Click the map below or visit the All Faiths Food Bank Food map on thier website to locate a summer food program for children near you.







Storycasts are podcasts and YouTube videos of children's stories, crafts, teen book reviews and author interviews. Visit the Storycasts page to see and hear them all.
