 Keep Sarasota County Beautiful

Keep Sarasota County Beautiful (KSCB) is a county-wide beautification program that initiates community cleanup projects to help keep our community free of litter. 
Locally, our mission is "to enhance and promote public interest and participation in the general improvement of the environment throughout Sarasota County" which is done through education, cleanup programs, recycling and other methods of reducing solid waste.  
Cleanup projects can take place in any location throughout Sarasota county that volunteer groups wish to target.  
Our organization is an affiliate of Keep America Beautiful Inc., a national, non-profit, public education organization dedicated to improving waste handling practices in American communities.

 2015 Great American Cleanup


Come and join us for the Great American Cleanup on Saturday, March 21, 2015. Volunteers are needed around the county (view locations) to help pick up litter and keep our community clean.  

T-shirts will be provided to the first 800 volunteers who register and trash bags and gloves will be provided to all volunteers.

Supplies will be distributed during the week of March 16-20 at two locations:

  • Chemical Collection Center/8750 Bee Ridge Road
  • Central County Landfill/4000 Knights Trail Road
