 Keep Sarasota County Beautiful

Keep Sarasota County Beautiful (KSCB) is a county-wide beautification program that initiates community cleanup projects to help keep our community free of litter.   
Cleanup projects can take place in any location throughout Sarasota county that volunteer groups wish to target.  
Our organization is an affiliate of Keep America Beautiful Inc., a national, non-profit, public education organization dedicated to improving waste handling practices in American communities.

 2017 Liberty Litter Cleanup

Sarasota County's beaches and parks draw thousands of guests during the 4th of July holiday celebrations. We are looking for volunteers to help clean up seven of the venues that are utilized the most during the festivities.

The 2017 Liberty Litter Cleanup takes place on Wed., July 5 from 7-9 a.m.

Volunteers are needed at the following venues:

  • Blind Pass Beach
  • Lido Beach
  • Nokomis Beach
  • North Jetty Beach
  • Siesta Key Beach
  • Ted Sperling Park (S. Lido)
  • Venice Beach

NEW this year - volunteers may select their T-shirt size on the registration form. Shirt sizes will be guaranteed for those volunteers who register by Wed., June 14, 2017. See registration form for additional details.

Supplies (bags to collect trash and recyclables, and gloves) and T-shirts will be provided to volunteers on-site at the event. In addition to receiving supplies, volunteers will also complete the release form and receive instructions on how to report their trash findings.
