The program's theme, "Plant a Seed, Read," encourages participants of every age to explore new interests and grow their love of reading. Each branch will host its own kickoff and closing events. Visit the online calendar for branch-specific dates and locations.

The Summer Reading Challenge has been extended this year, beginning May 23 through Aug. 15, giving participants more time to reach their reading goals. Everyone who completes the challenge will earn a prize. Older children and teens will be entered into a drawing for a Nintendo Switch, and adults will be entered into a drawing for a Kindle.
