NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of County Commissioners of Sarasota County, Florida, will hold a Public Hearing on January 13, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. or as soon thereafter as possible, at the Robert L. Anderson Administration Center, Commission Chambers, 4000 S Tamiami Trail, Venice, Florida, to consider and act upon the adoption of the following proposed County Ordinance:
ORDINANCE 2025-042
AN ORDINANCE OF SARASOTA COUNTY, FLORIDA RELATING TO THE PROCUREMENT CODE; AMENDING SECTION 2-231, RELATING TO PROPOSALS FOR PUBLIC PRIVATE PARTNERSHIPS; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; ADDRESSING CONFLICT WITH OTHER ORDINANCES; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
All interested parties are invited to appear and be heard in accordance with rules adopted by the Board. A complete draft of the proposed Ordinance is on file and available for public inspection in the office of the Clerk to the Board of County Commissioners, 2000 Main Street, Sarasota, Florida 34236 during normal business hours, or can be downloaded at: www.scgov.net on the Thursday preceding the public hearing. Written comments filed with the Board of County Commissioners will be considered. Said public hearing may be continued from time to time as announced at the hearing, or as may be found necessary. This notice is published pursuant to the requirement of Section 125.66, Florida Statutes. The following time limits for speaker presentations are in effect: 5 minutes for citizen comments per speaker. The Chair may modify time limits to ensure all speakers are heard.
