SARASOTA COUNTY - The Sarasota County Administration Center in downtown Sarasota, located at 1660 Ringling Blvd., will close and no longer accept visitors on Oct. 24.

County services remain available in person from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, at the Sarasota County Operations Center at 1001 Sarasota Center Blvd., Sarasota. Information is also available online at scgov.net or by dialing 311.

During the construction of a new county administration building, the Sarasota County Board of County Commissioners meetings will be held at the Robert L. Anderson Administration Center, 4000 N. Tamiami Trail, Venice. Tune in by watching the official Sarasota County live stream, Frontier channel 32, or by visiting scgov.net and searching “meetings on demand.” A meeting schedule is available online.

Sarasota County expects to open a new Administration Center in 2026, located at 1 Apex Road, Sarasota. More information on the opening and first board meeting to be held in the new administration center will be shared as it is finalized.
