SARASOTA COUNTY – Discover hidden history and turn Sarasota County parks into a classroom with the new Agents of Discovery app.
This new interactive feature is a partnership between Sarasota County Parks, Recreation and Natural Resources and Sarasota County University of Florida Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences Extension and Sustainability.
Explore nature-based missions on the free Agents of Discovery app, an interactive way for families to turn screen time into opportunities to explore the outdoors while learning and having fun.
Beginning June 4, visit select parks to complete site-specific challenges with Field Agent Forest Parker.
Missions explore local history, habitats, wildlife and conservation efforts, and participants can earn a digital badge upon completion.
