Save the Date! Community members are invited to a Community Conversation on Hurricane Preparedness with Sarasota County and partners from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Thursday, May 8, at Riverview High School, 1 Ram Way, Sarasota. Doors open at 5 p.m.

Hear from county departments, municipalities and environmental experts about personal and home preparation, evacuation procedures, shelter options and special needs, as well as vital resources and what to expect from national forecasting models in 2025.
