Sarasota County Fire Department reunites with trauma patient
Sarasota County Fire Department personnel had the opportunity to reunite with patient Aviana Garrison and her family today. Crews responded in July 2024 to a vehicle crash Aviana was involved in and transported her to the hospital. Today, Aviana has recovered from her injuries and stopped by Fire Station 2 to thank all the SCFD responders, those who cared for her at Sarasota Memorial Health Care System and those who assisted her throughout her recovery.
