Sarasota County seeks input on draft concept plan for new dog park

SARASOTA COUNTY - Sarasota County will host a community workshop especially geared toward dog owners and area residents.

The purpose of this workshop is to gather feedback on the draft concept plan for an enclosed, off-leash dog park at the 19-acre Bay Street Park, located at 300 E. Bay St., near U.S. 41 in Osprey.

The community workshop will be held Thursday, Nov. 16 from 5:30-7 p.m. at Historic Spanish Point, 337 N. Tamiami Trail, Osprey. There will be display boards to view and staff present to discuss the proposed dog park and answer questions.
