The Venetian Waterway Park (VWP) is a scenic multi-use concrete paved trail that runs along both the east and west sides of the Intracoastal Waterway (ICW). VWP east, also known as the Venetian Waterway Park segment of The Legacy Trail (3.8 miles long), directly connects The Legacy Trail near the historic Venice Train Depot and travels south to Shamrock Park. VWP west (5 miles long) is along the west side of the ICW, running from the VABI office south to Caspersen Beach Park. The trail provides great water views and wildlife sighting opportunities.
