Description

Foodborne illness can strike anyone. Safe steps in food handling, cooking, and storage are essential to prevent foodborne illness.

You can’t see, smell, or taste harmful bacteria that may cause illness. In every step of food preparation, it is important to be consistent in practicing safe food handling procedures.

This class will discuss food safety from the garden and into your kitchen. Best practices will be taught to reduce your risk of foodborne illness.
