Join Dr. Lisa Krimsky, UF/IFAS Extension Regional Water Resources Agent, as she presents information on Lake Okeechobee including: drainage in south Florida, coastal discharges and constraints to sending the water south, and an overview of the most recent bloom events.

About Dr. Lisa Krimsky:

Lisa is part of a team of five Water Resource Regional Specialized Agents located across the state to lead and support water resource extension education programs. Lisa’s efforts are focused primarily in southeast Florida with a focus on water quality in coastal and estuarine ecosystems. Her programs help solve water resource issues that are critical to the economic development and environmental protection in Florida. Lisa received her PhD in Marine Biosciences from the University of Delaware in 2008 and her BS in Environmental Science and Policy from the University of Maryland.
