Come get WILD with us! Calling all K-12 teachers, parents/guardians, homeschool educators, scout and 4H leaders, environmental educators, or anyone interested in exploring nature with K-12 students.
Participants will experience practical activities that can be used indoors or outside to help children learn about nature, wildlife, and conservation in a fun, positive, hands-on setting.
Each of the 129 Project WILD guidebook activities have been classroom tested and include objectives, methods, background information, materials needed, procedures, evaluation suggestions, recommended grade levels, subjects, skills, duration, group size, setting and key vocabulary.
Activities are correlated to Sunshine State Standards. Completion of class may be recognized for professional development.
Project WILD guidebook will be provided to registered participants. This is a class for adults. LUNCH is provided! Cost is $10.
