Sarasota County Fire Department personnel will honor those individuals who lost their lives on September 11, 2001, never forgetting their valor, service and sacrifice.

The Sarasota County Fire Department will hold a commemoration at Emergency Services Fire Department Administration, 6062 Porter Way, Sarasota, including a brief ceremony and a moment of silence at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 11.
