Join Sarasota County to celebrate National Public Lands Day (NPLD) and Take A Child Outside (TACO) week (Sept. 24-30). Enjoy a morning of volunteering, connecting with nature and family-focused fun for families and individuals of all ages. Nature Exploration Stations include intro to kayaking, nature walks, animal ambassadors and a variety of nature-based activities. National Public Lands Day (NPLD) is the largest single-day volunteer event to improve and enhance America's public lands. Take A Child Outside (TACO) week was founded to help connect children with nature. Registration required for volunteer service projects.
