UF/IFAS Extension: WEBINAR - Earth Day 50: Sustainability Marine Fisheries
- Date: 05/21/2020 12:00 PM - 12:45 PM
Florida is the fishing capital of the world! Managing and maintaining sustainable marine fisheries rely on a combination of effective regulations and responsible angler behaviors. Whether you are fishing for fun or food, it is likely that you will release some of the fish you catch. Careful handling of released fish increases their chance of survival and makes it more likely that they will be caught again. Join Florida Sea Grant agents as they share some of the science behind effective catch-and-release fishing practice in our "Sustainable Marine Fisheries" webinar, part of our monthly series anchored around the 50th anniversary of Earth Day.
