POSTPONED: UF/IFAS Extension: 4-H Clogging Clovers

4-H

POSTPONED

As Florida 4-H has monitored the COVID-19 pandemic, the health and safety of our 4-H members, families, volunteers, staff and faculty have been the top priority. With that in mind, and following the guidance of UF/IFAS Extension, all in-person 4-H activities have been suspended through July 31. This includes summer programs such as 4-H University, 4-H Legislatures and 4-H residential camps.

For many youth, these summer programs are the highlight of the 4-H year and many are understandably disappointed. However, in the spirit of 4-H, they are focusing on the future and how they can make a positive impact on their communities during this time. All Florida 4-H faculty and staff are working hard to find and implement alternative ways for our 4-H members, volunteers, and families to continue to learn, lead, serve, grow, and belong. We thank the 4-H community for continuing to be so patient, creative, and flexible.

Cloverbuds accepted.

This club focuses on the development of leadership skills through "clogging," which members perform at various community events.

Members also are very involved in community service projects, arts and crafts, and demonstrations and illustrated talks.

Club meetings are 6:30-8:30 p.m. each Monday, at Colonial Oaks Park.
