As a green business partner,Stevens and Stevens Business Records Management is committed to protecting the environment. The company is actively involved in multiple recycling programs. All internal documents and paper waste is shredded onsite and recycled. Locally, paints and cleaners are sent to the Sarasota County recycling center.'They communicate their environmental commitment to employees and encourage employees to suggest new conservation ideas and programs.

SSBRM is not only making a difference in Sarasota County. At their records management facility in Clearwater Florida, they have installed a 100 kW solar array. The more than 400 PV panels demonstrate the corporate-wide commitment to reducing their environmental impacts. Additionally, SSBRM shredded and recycled 6.9 million pounds of paper company-wide in 2013.
