Florida Native Plants Nursery & Landscaping

At Florida Native Plants Nursery and Landscaping we stock over a hundred varieties of native and Florida-friendly plants. We have edibles, fruit trees and eco-products. But we're not just about selling. Visiting the nursery is a learning experience. Benefit from our thirty years of experience. Be inspired by our demonstration gardens, including; containerized gardens, raised compost beds, composting with worms and rabbits, solar dehydration, water recycling, butterfly gardens, local and native bird gardens, landscape buffers, and swale and holding ponds. Viewing our demonstration gardens you'll see the plants for each type of garden and what goes with what. You'll visualize growth in your yard three, five and 10 years from now. Let us help you make a plan and choose those plants that will thrive with minimal care and add life to your landscape. You will have the joy of creating an aesthetically pleasing, life affirming, environmentally sensitive place to live.

As a Green Business Partner, Florida Native Plants Nursery and Landscaping exceeds minimum program requirements in solid waste, water and energy. Additionally, Florida Native Plants Nursery and Landscaping exceeds the program standards regarding landscaping, as well as teaches their customers about environmentally friendly landscape planning and management., We encourage the use of Florida native, low maintenance drought-resistant plants and trees. We remove invasive exotic plants. We use organic fertilizer, only when necessary. We do not use pesticides. We have native plants planted in our swales and banks to absorb nutrients. We adhere to a'10-30 foot no-fertilizer, no-pesticide zone along retention ponds and swales. We even use horses, cows and goats instead of mowing! We consciously evaluate operations regularly, and look for more ways to be more environmentally friendly.
