Arlington Park was first established in 1979
with the development of the playground, named “Magic Park.”
Later that year the gymnasium and locker rooms opened with the
pools opening in 1981. Many individuals and groups use this park
and call it their “home away from home.”
This park is owned by
the city of Sarasota and operated by Sarasota County Parks and
Recreation. Many recreational as well as aquatic activities are
offered.
