Community Park?
Buchan Airport Community Park is located in Englewood, just off
State Road 776 adjacent to the Buchan Airport. The park offers
the following amenities:
- Large shaded playgrounds
- Picnic areas and grills
- Public outdoor restroom
facilities
- Community garden
- Community meetings/banquet
rooms
- Paved sidewalk areas for
biking and walking
- Hammock area with walking
trails
- Open space area for outdoor
events

How can I rent one of the Deltec
Buildings at the Park?
The park buildings can be rented on an hourly basis for
community meetings, parties and events. Amenities within the
buildings include a kitchenette with sink and refrigerator, indoor
restroom, tables and chairs. To make a reservation contact the
Parks Reservation office at 941-861-9930. |

The community garden is being managed in partnership with
Sarasota County Parks and Recreation, the Friends of Sarasota
County Parks, the Sarasota County Extension office and the
Englewood Community Redevelopment Area (CRA) Office. Please
