Aetna HealthFund
The Aetna HealthFund (AHF) plan provides a "fund" to help pay health care expenses. If your fund account is spent before the deductible is met, you pay any remaining expenses out of your pocket until the deductible is satisfied. If you spend all of your fund account and meet the deductible, remaining expenses are covered by your base medical benefits plan, which is similar to the Choice POS II plan.

The AHF plan gives you the flexibility to choose your providers without restriction, but does provide an in-network option to assist participants in managing their fund dollars. Additionally, by using Aexcel® providers, participants will receive reimbursement at 90 percent after satisfaction of the deductible.

Preventive care is covered at 100 percent and is not deducted from your fund account. A prescription benefit is integrated with the AHF plan. Prescriptions are covered at the co-pay/co-insurance levels prior to satisfying your deductible.
