Incentive Programs
There are two types of Wellness Incentives one may be eligible to earn:
  1. Wellness Cash: earned by completing designated wellness activities. Cash is available only to benefits eligible employees.  Neither spouses nor dependants are eligible for cash incentives.   Maximum Wellness Cash Incentive per year = $100

  2. Medical Insurance Reward Credits: available to employees choosing one of the County's medical plans as well as to covered spouses covered under one of these plans. Both the employee and covered spouse have the potential to earn $250 in Medical Insurance Reward Credits to either reduce deductible & co-insurance or increase their health fund.

The more you earn, the more you save. Employees may accumulate a maximum of $250 in Medical Insurance Reward Credits per year. Covered spouses may accumulate $250 per year as well. Medical Insurance Reward Credits not used toward your deductible, co-insurance or health fund one year, will roll over to the next year, reducing your deductible or co-insurance or increasing your health fund balance even further. Currently there is no cap on the maximum amount of Medical Insurance Reward Credits that can be rolled over.

The Health Risk Assessment (HRA) should be completed or updated between Jan. 1 and Dec. 31 each year to receive Medical Insurance Reward Credits. Spouses covered by either of the county's medical plans should also complete/update the HRA each year to receive their Medical Insurance Reward Credits.
The HRA is available online at Aetna.com through Simple Steps To A Healthier Life®. The HRA is available online at Aetna.com through Simple Steps To A Healthier Life®.
