Well Drilling Advisory Board
Governing Legislation:
Ordinance No. 76-37
Amended by Ordinance No. 97-034, 2003-080
Purpose: To investigate complaints filed against drillers and advise the director of the findings; regularly review the well drilling ordinance to insure consistency with changing statutes and state regulations.
Requirements: Five members having the following qualifications:
- Three qualified well drillers having broad experience in this geographical area
- One ground water geologist or registered engineer with training and/or experience in water geology
- One member from the public at large
Terms: Four-year
Meetings: Annual meeting in January of each year and subsequently at the call of the chairman.
