Nokomis Revitalization Advisory Committee
Governing Legislation:
Resolution No. 2004-228
Purpose: To advise the Sarasota County Commissioners and make recommendations pertaining to the adopted Nokomis Center Revitalization Plan.
Requirements: Must be a resident of Sarasota County and reside or own property or a business within the Laurel/Nokomis area (i.e. area generally bounded by South Creek on the north; Roberts Bay and Curry Creek on the South; Interstate 75 on the east; and Lyons Bay on the west).
Term: Three Years, initial terms staggered
Meetings: Regular meetings are held everyother month, or as needed at the Nokomis Community Center. Additional meetings may be scheduled as needed.
