When a new manager joins a team, it is normal for
both the leader and team to feel some uncertainty and angst.
During this time, productivity can be greatly impacted. The New
Leader Integration is an OED-facilitated, two-hour meeting
designed to reduce this transition time and to create a positive
foundation for moving forward.
During
this meeting, participants will:
- Create a shared understanding of the new manager’s
expectations, professional background and leadership style, and
- Express their individual work-related preferences for
increased job effectiveness.
Note: For optimal results, it is recommended that
this meeting be scheduled to take place within the new leader’s
