On Earth Day, April 22, 2009, communities across the country will participate in the National Conversation on Climate Action. This unprecedented initiative will engage thousands of citizens to drive substantive, solutions-oriented dialogues about energy and climate action at the local level. Just as solutions are being debated in the chambers on Capitol Hill and in Tallahassee, so too should it be discussed in the communities where people live, work and raise their families.

Sarasota County was selected as one of 10 Spotlight Conversation sites in the U.S. and the only location in Florida. Our event will be highlighted during the National Conversation on Climate Action.
