SCAT
Plus provides paratransit services to individuals who, due to
their disability, are not capable of using SCAT, the local fixed
route bus services.
Eligibility for paratransit services is based
upon the nature of the individual's disability and the origin
and destination of the requested trip.
Individuals interested in using the SCAT Plus
Service as an Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) rider must
be screened for eligibility and certified.
This certification requires documentation from
a medical professional and in some cases an in-person assessment
may be required to determine if the disability actually prevents
the rider from using the SCAT fixed bus route system.
