Inclusion and Therapeutic Recreation
Sarasota
County Parks and Recreation welcomes individuals of varying
abilities to participate in our programs and to visit our parks.
Sarasota County Parks and Recreation strives to offer programs
designed for individuals with special needs as well as offering
an inclusive approach to all recreation.
Some programs may
require advance notification to accommodate individuals with

T- REC Coalition of Sarasota
County
The
T-REC Coalition of Sarasota County is comprised of eight local
community agencies
working together to provide organized therapeutic recreational
opportunities for individuals with disabilities living in
Sarasota County. Monthly events take place at varying venues
throughout the county. Past activities include sporting events,
pool and beach parties, walks, and the ever-popular dances.
Sarasota County Parks and Recreation is proud of its lead role.
