Final design and construction start January 2007
Public meeting for Dona and Roberts Bay structures February 2007
Construction mobilization June 2007
Construction of Dona and Roberts Bay trestles start February 2008
Complete construction 10.6 mile trail and six trestles March 2008
The Legacy Trail Grand Opening March 28-30, 2008
Complete construction of Dona and Roberts Bay trestles July 2009

  • The Laurel Civic Association meets on the first Monday of the month at 6 p.m. at the Laurel Civic Center.
  • The Friends of The Legacy Trail meets on the first Tuesday of the month at 6 p.m. at the Oscar Scherer Park.
