Veterans Dependency Indemnity Compensation Help
Help with Dependency Indemnity
Compensation (DIC) is available through Sarasota County Veterans
Affairs in Sarasota and Venice. DIC is payable regardless
of income to surviving spouses and dependant children of
veterans who die from service connected deaths.
The benefit is also payable if
the veteran was 100 percent disabled for ten years or more if a
veterans' service connected disability contributed to the cause
of death.
