Zest! of Sarasota offers complete
catering services for parties of all sorts, large and small.
They
specialize in designing unique menus
specific to an event, and prepare all their food in their own
kitchen in Gulf Gate. In addition to using reusable flatware and
plates, Zest! plans menus to keep food waste to a minimum and
composts any leftover food that does occur. They
separate, collect and recycle all glass and plastic from jobs.
They recycle all plastic bags and all foam containers such as
egg cartons and the foam liners from meat and fish packaging. In
2008, they discontinued purchasing spring water in small
bottles, opting for pure spring water from pitchers. They do not
use food products from sources that are endangered or threatened
and buy locally whenever practical. |
