A very durable,
low-maintenance tree that should be used more in our
area. Non-aggressive roots, slow growth and high urban
tolerance make this one of the best shade trees for the
western part of the county. Foliage will be burned by
sub-freezing temperatures, but little damage occurs to
the woody structure of the tree. |
