Comments: |
Often seen in river valleys and flood
plains, this
tree adapts well to moist, well-drained urban
settings. Fruit (nuts) will be a problem as are
caterpillars in spring and fall. Species is subject to
breakage in high winds; when properly located it can be
an excellent four season tree and wildlife attraction. |
