Comments:

Under-utilized as an urban tree, but has potential in well-drained soils. Medium-sized crown, aromatic leaves and blue berries that attract birds make this a good choice for smaller yards. The tree sometimes suffers from branch and root die-back and is short-lived. Not well-tested as a street tree.
