Comments: |
The largest of the native Pines, it
requires deep, sandy, well-drained soils, which
precludes its use as an urban tree. However, it lends
itself well to informal plantings away from roadways and
structures. Tree will shed large limbs in high winds.
Excellent wildlife tree. |
