Comments: |
Overused in our area due to its
adaptability and will easily outgrow most sites on which
it is currently planted. As a shade tree, it is
unsurpassed in growth rate, wind resistance (when
maintained), drought tolerance and wildlife forage.
Requires proper pruning when immature to establish good
structure. New cultivars are unproven, but worthy trees
for small lots. |
